A floor 'tray' was installed with a linear stainless steel waste in the shower area.A chrome digital Aqualisa shower was fitted with a diverter control that switches between the 'fixed head' and the adjustable 'riser rail', finished off with a large glass screen and chrome support arm. Narrowboat Fit Out

Condensate pipe upgrade
admin2015-03-13T09:54:20+00:00Condensate pipe upgrade This ¾” pipe is passing through the wall ‘horizontally’ and because of this, the water lying in this section of pipe was prone to freezing up in cold weather. This, in turn causes the boiler to ‘lock out’! A larger (1 ¼” pipe) was installed; this penetrated the wall at a ‘downhill’ angle to keep the condensate water constantly ‘falling’ as it leaves the boiler and heads towards the drain. Urinal Installation
admin2015-03-21T15:50:59+00:00Urinal Installation Old cistern, old stainless steel urinal and old tiles were removed. Walls are studded out and plyboarded. Then ‘wet wall’ panelling was fitted before installing the new individual ceramic urinals. New stainless steel pipe work and 2 “ waste supplies installed. The new cistern was also mounted in an adjacent cupboard for a neater appearance and also to prevent tampering. This was controlled by a motion sensor to activate the flush and to save water usage.
Wet room Installation
admin2015-03-16T15:23:06+00:00Wetroom differs slightly from a bathroom. There is no shower tray to step into. The shower waste is an outlet in the floor tiles and the whole wall or floor area are “waterproofed” with a special solution prior to tiling.
