Gas and Solar Solutions was formed in 2002 operating as a small plumbing and heating business as a sole trader. With a steady growth over the next 6 years we became a Limited company in 2008.

In October 2019 the company name was amended slightly to Gas & Specialist Services Ltd; This was mainly due to the decline in popularity of ‘Solar Thermal’ products.

We are now in our 20th year of successful trading and have hundreds of loyal customers on our books, mainly domestic, with a  percentage of commercial & Industrial clients that is steadily growing.

As a small business, we provide a very personal service that you don’t get with larger companies. We listen to our customer’s needs, give them what they ask for; and we are also there to advise and suggest alternative products and services that may be beneficial to you.

We believe in adopting a “conscientious” and “thorough” approach to all work with customer service on the top of our list of priorities.

And we are proud to say that 99% of our bookings are through recommendations and referalls. Other than the vehicle signage, the company has never felt the need to advertise.
We are Gas Safe Accredited, members of the CIPHE (Chartered Institute of plumbing & Heating Engineering) and are fully insured – details are available on request.
